Yet Another Blow to beleaguered Property Owners and Landlords

The Maryland Court of Appeals by a recent decision strikes yet another blow to already beleaguered property owners, landlords and property managers.  A case decided by the Maryland Court of Appeals entitled Tracey v. Solesky, found in Ca. No 53, Sept 2011 (and reported in April 2012), has re-defined liability as it relates to attacks from pets, specifically Pit Bulls and Pit Bull Hybrids.

Good News for Property Managers

Good news for Property Managers.  The Federal Government, specifically FDIC,  has now provided guidelines for banks holding huge amounts of foreclosed property to rent those properties.  The banks are required to establish policies that must be approved by FDIC or other appropriate agencies prior to initating a rental program.

Good News for B of A borrowers !

Bank of America has cut yet another deal with the government which will result in the opportunity for up to 200,000 borrowers who are upside down on their mortgage to get relief.  This deal is in addition to the deal struck several weeks ago by B of A and several other large mortgage lenders which would result in 25 million dollars in mortgage benefits being applied by the banks in return for a settlement of various State filed lawsuits.
